Alberto Barbieri obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Bologna (2013), with a thesis concerning the nature of flashbulb memories and their role in the construction of personal identity. Afterwards, in the same university, he achieved his Master’s degree in Philosophical Sciences (2015), with a thesis investigating the metaphysics of the self. Within IUSS, he is one of the two elected Postgraduate Students' Representatives in the council of cognitive, social and behavioural sciences area.
