Pablo A. Garcia de Quevedo Iñarritu
He received his B.Sc. degree in civil engineering in 2015 at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Later on, he worked several projects at a structural design company in Mexico. He then continued his studies in the ROSE programme at IUSS Pavia, receiving his M.Sc. on 2018. For his master thesis he worked on the effects of cumulative damage caused by earthquake sequences on masonry buildings under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Bazzurro. In the next years he worked on earthquake risk models at a CAT modelling company in Mexico. Later on, he worked on research projects at the University of Porto focusing on seismic vulnerability of industrial steel buildings, ageing on reinforced concrete buildings and applications of machine learning on developing earthquake CAT bonds.
