Carlotta Rodriquez took a Master’s degree (cum laude) in Architecture with a thesis on “Sustainable technologies with a focus on recycled concrete, Life Cycle Assessment and fiber optic measuring methods” at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and at HEIG-VD, Switzerland. She then earned a scholarship for a Master’s degree in Advanced Structural Modelling, Analysis and Design at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and at FEUP, Portugal, with a thesis on “Structural Health Monitoring of Cultural Heritage”. She worked in post disaster reconstruction, informal settlements and climate change adaptation in Nepal, India and Cambodia. She is currently working as a Disaster Risk Management consultant for Myanmar at World Bank. She has been elected Postgraduate Students’ Representative in the UME Scientific Board.
