Jessica Canino studied at University of Palermo where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, carryng out her thesis on serological markers of celiac disease. Afterwards, she graduated with a master’s degree in Applied and Experimental Biology at University of Pavia. During master degree years she studied the role of amyloid precursor protein (APP) in platelet functionality. Currently, she attends Biomolecular Science and Biotechnology PhD in which she deals with understanding the biochemical mechanisms of thrombus inflammation.
