Camilo Andrés Perdomo Horta
Camilo Perdomo graduated as Civil Engineer from the National University of Colombia in 2010. After finishing his undergraduate courses He worked as a practitioner for approximately 4 years for a private company in Colombia performing the structural design of bridge structures for several large scale public infrastructure projects in the country, as well as several privately owned projects. In 2014, He enrolled to the Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology ERASMUS Master programme, where He was granted a scholarship. He finished his master level graduate studies developing a research for simplified seismic assessment of bridges, at IUSS (Italy) in 2016. The same year, He was granted a position as PhD student for the UME programme at IUSS. Since then, He has been developing his area of research, focusing primarily in the development of tools for the economic loss assessment in bridges subjected to earthquake motions.
