Creazione di un Ambiente Domestico Sicuro (Development of a safe living environment)
The aim of this project is to develop safe living environments in which all elements are able to adequately respond to extreme situations through the use of domotics and building automation. To this end, the optimization and implementation of new, technologically innovative, intelligent, eco-sustainable non-structural products and systems that are integrated into a home automation environment are expected to reduce the overall risk of buildings.
Epistemology of Mathematics and Logic
The Epistemology of Mathematics and Logic project substantiates a long-term development strategy for philosophical research at IUSS and NEtS Center. Its aim is to support advanced research, activities, and networking in the specialized, and still rather vast and multi-disciplinary, area of the epistemology and philosophy of mathematics and logic. Research is promoted on several themes concerning major contemporary debates in the philosophy of mathematics and logic, especially when merging technical and formal skills with broader theoretical issues in epistemology, ontology, logic, philosophy of language and philosophy of science.
