The Master examines the data acquisition techniques, the methodologies for materials’ surveying, technologies and structures, the set up of interpretative frameworks for assessing hazard, vulnerability and risk, elements and structures protection techniques, the essential design components for risk reduction, aspects related to city planning, legal, insurance and economic instruments.
Fundamental characteristics of the Master are its interdisciplinary approach, the international experience, the constant connection with the most advanced researches and the attention to practical aspects.
Attendance is mandatory, as well as passing exams and carrying out a thesis for the achievement of a total amount of 90 ECTS credits.
Students are required to acquire 60 credits through courses. The remaining 30 credits will have to be acquired by writing a thesis, which can be related to a research project or can be the result of an internship.
