X Graduate Conference in Political  Philosophy 3-4 September,  Pavia CALL FOR PAPER

The HDCP-IRC was launched in 2006 under the auspices of the Institute for Advanced Study of Pavia (IUSS). Its innovative mission consists in the creation of a multidisciplinary forum for high-quality research and training activities in the fields of human development and human rights.

The HDCP-IRC's activities are carried out within the theoretical framework of the capability approach as formulated by 1998 Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen. They revolve around the study of such topics as the quality of life, poverty, inequality, global justice, minority rights, gender issues, citizenship and equal respect and sustainable development.
