The Master Course in Materials Science is now at its 13^th edition.
It aims to form graduate students with outstanding scientific and professional abilities, trained in the various aspects of advanced materials and their applications to:
• micro-electronics
• photonics
• energy control and management.

Specific features of the Master Course are:
• A strong interdisciplinary approach to Materials Science, with attention to the most recent scientific and technological achievements in the field and to the materials with the highest technological content.
• High teaching quality, in agreement with the general features of the Master at IUSS: the Course intends to accept up to 20 candidates, they will be selected according to their background and an interview, and will be required to stay in Pavia for whole period of the teaching activity.
• International environment (of both students and teachers).

The lectures will be given at the Almo Collegio Borromeo.
