The Master's Degree in Nuclear and Ionizing Radiation Technologies (NIRT) forms high-level specialists who can operate on the domestic and the international market in the field of nuclear technologies application and nuclear activities (essentially "no power").

The overall course has the duration of one year: a total of 1500 h of theoretical lectures (400 hours), laboratories, group study activities and 4-6 months of training stages within Italian or foreign institutions and companies which are partners of the Master course.
After the graduation 40% of the students are employed (NUV report dated 2009).
