Antonios Stratidakis graduated in the Department of Materials Science, University of Patras, Greece in 2014. During his Bachelor studies, he has participated as an exchange student at Uppsala University, Angstrom Lab., Department of “Physics and Astronomy”, under the Erasmus European Program. In 2016 he obtained his Master’s Degree entitled “Advanced Polymeric and Nanostructured Materials”, Department of Chemistry, University of Patras, Greece. During his MSc studies he gained a Scholarship funding under the European Program “Development in Industrial Research and Technology”. Until now he has published a number of scientific research articles in International peer reviewed scientific journals. He has participated in a number of European and International Conferences with several oral and poster presentations.
His PhD research project focuses on developing an integrative biology approach for developing AOPs for neurodevelopmental disorders building systems biology hypotheses based on multiple -omics data. The goal of his research is to identify the most critical regulatory pathway nodes that regulate the onset of pathways beyond cellular homeostasis-thus identify potential candidates for adverse outcome pathways. He is a member of "NEUROSOME" which is an innovative Training Network funded by the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement.
