Tematica "Novel bioenzymatic tools for lignin degradation".

I obtained my MSc in Advanced Biotechnology at the University of Pavia. I worked as fellow at the University of Pavia in collaboration with Professor Forneris Federico in a project involved in the structural and biochemical characterization of odorant binding proteins (OBPs) of Aedes albopictus (the asian tiger mosquito).
I won a fellowship at the University of Milan, in collaboration with Professor Gabrieli Paolo I’ve contributed to a project entitled "A thorough understanding of the molecular players causing the Skeeter Syndrome". 
My PhD project, carried out in close collaboration with Gecco Biotech (Groningen), consists in the biochemical and structural characterization of peroxygenases (UPOs) and their fine engineering.
