Gaia C. Santi studied at University of Pavia (Italy), obtaining first a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychological Science and Techniques (2015) and then a Master Degree in Psychology - experimental and cognitive neurosciences curriculum (2017). During her post-lauream internship, she gained competences in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of patients with neurodegenerative diseases and brain lesions. Gaia took part in studies investigating the neural substrates of cognitive functions, e.g. memory, social cognition, in both healthy and pathological populations.
Gaia C. Santi’s main research interest is focused on the investigation of the neural correlates of semantic memory and language. The research focus will be on the interplay between semantic representation and control mechanisms though the contribution of different approaches, including behavioral paradigms, neuropsychological and neurostimulation studies, in both healthy and pathological populations.
