Lana graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Montenegro, Podgorica. She obtained het master’s degree in Earthquake Engineering, completing courses at University of Grenoble, Alpes and at Middle East Technical University with a dissertation on “Out of Plane Seismic Performance of AAC Infill Walls with Openings” under the supervision of Professor Baris Binici. Before enrolling in PhD studies, she worked in Montenegro as a structural engineer.
