I studied Pharmacy at the University of Perugia (Italy) where I graduated in 2020 with a master thesis in medicinal chemistry entitled “C-2 phenyl replacements to obtain potent quinoline-based S.aureus NorA pump inhibitors”. Afterwards, I spent six months in Germany, to carry on an Erasmus Traineeship at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research in Saarbruecken (HIPS). There, I focused my Research on the design and synthesis of antibacterial agents against Gram negative Bacteria.
Currently, I am working at Philochem AG (Switzerland) as an industrial PhD student in collaboration with the IUSS of Pavia. The main goal of my research is the identification of new anticancer therapeutics based on the development of DNA encoded Chemical Libraries."
