Start Cup Toscana 2019 is the competition that rewards the best entrepreneurial initiatives with a high technological content and coming from the world of research, which offers the opportunity to transform an idea into a business.

This year the Start Cup Toscana 2019 is organized by the University of Pisa in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, the Scuola Normale Superiore, the Scuola IMT, the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS di Pavia, the University of Florence and the University of Siena with the financial support of the Tuscany Region.  Start Cup Toscana 2019 is realized, moreover, in collaboration with the National Award for Innovation (PNI) 2019, of which it represents the regional phase.

The event will be held at 9:00 on 25 October 2019 at the Aula Magna del Polo Fibonacci, Largo Bruno Pontecorvo 3, Pisa. 

Professor Miccoli, President of the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR) will speak with the title "Towards the new VQR: what kind of continuity?" and a round table on "Evaluation of Technology Transfer in University Evaluation". 
The finalists of the Start Cup will present their projects in a short pitch and will follow the awarding of prizes.
