Success for the 2024 Area Meetings at the University of Pavia: High Participation and Interest from Students
Pavia, February 5, 2024 - The 2024 Area Meetings at the University of Pavia are underway, proving to be a resounding success. This initiative is dedicated to students in their final two years of high school, providing a comprehensive overview of the educational offerings and opportunities at the prestigious institution.
The event, spread across three themed days, focuses on different study areas, giving students and their families the chance to explore disciplines of their interest. The first day covered health sciences, scientific fields, and psychology, the second focused on humanities, legal-political-economic studies, and musicology, while the third will concentrate on engineering and architecture.
A distinctive feature this year is the active participation of the students from the IUSS Advanced School of Pavia. They shared their experiences and testimonials, providing prospective students with an authentic insight into academic life at the school.
The feedback received so far has been extremely positive, with many students and parents expressing appreciation for the opportunity to understand in detail the offered study paths and associated career prospects. Areas of interest span from Medicine and Health Professions to Literature, Communication, Law, and Economics.
The upcoming two days, scheduled for February 6 and 7, 2024, will be dedicated to the field of Engineering. An additional influx of prospective university students eager to delve into the opportunities offered by the IUSS Advanced School of Pavia is expected.

1) Sanitaria, Scientifica e Psicologica;
2) Umanistica, Giuridico-Politico-Economica e Musicologica;
3) dell’Ingegneria e dell’Architettura.

2) Area Umanistica, Giuridico/Politico/Economica e Musicologica: 31 gennaio e 1-2 febbraio 2024 - Sede Centrale dell'Università di Pavia
3) Area dell’Ingegneria e dell’Architettura: 6-7 febbraio 2024 - Polo Didattico di Ingegneria, Via Ferrata 5
