
Next weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, February 17th and 18th, Pavia will become the center of urban innovations with a conference and an exhibition dedicated to urban regeneration. The event will take place in the '400 Hall of the University of Pavia and will feature the presentation of important regeneration projects, transformation, and enhancement of the urban fabric currently under development in the territory of the Municipality of Pavia, by the University of Pavia and other important operators, including the IUSS University School, which will redesign the face of the city in the coming years by proposing an overview of future scenarios.
An ideal path is created that starts from the redevelopment of some large disused areas to more targeted interventions, with the common denominator of returning portions of the city not currently used by the citizens of Pavia.

The exhibition will present important projects for the transformation and enhancement of the urban fabric, currently in the development phase in the municipality of Pavia. Thanks to the commitment of the University and other interested parties, the city is preparing for a radical change, with targeted interventions aimed at requalifying portions of the city currently not used by citizens.
Among the distinguished speakers expected for the event are the Rector of the University of Pavia, Francesco Svelto, the Mayor of Pavia, Mario Fabrizio Fracassi, and the Regional Councillor for Territoriality and Green Systems, Gianluca Comazzi. Representatives of the IUSS School of Pavia and other institutions and companies involved in the regeneration projects will also participate.
The exhibition opening and project presentations will take place on Saturday, February 17th, and Sunday, February 18th, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. The exhibition will subsequently be displayed, starting from March 7, 2024, at the Cortile del Broletto in Piazza della Vittoria 15, offering everyone the opportunity to learn about and appreciate the future perspectives of the city of Pavia.
