The series of Transversal Skills meetings aims to enhance the doctoral qualification, providing common courses to the different PhD courses, about the management of research, the knowledge of the European and international research systems, the valorization and dissemination of results, intellectual property, and open access to research data and products, as well as about the fundamental principles of ethics and integrity.

"The ethics of research and communication: the scientist's social responsibility"
The course programme SPReAD (Sharing & Protecting Research Activities in Doctorate) aims to provide PhD students with the basic tools to understand which are the instruments to valorise their research activities and which are the safeguards to adopt in order not to preclude any form of valorisation, both in terms of publications and in terms of economic exploitation.
The course, held in English, consists of in-person meetings, at the IUSS Pavia School, and video-recorded lectures.
