
The University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia is the coordinating institution of the "Educating Future Citizens" (EFC) project, an initiative funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and developed in collaboration with a network of eight University Schools of Advanced Studies. The project aims to strengthen orientation and advanced training activities and their impact, offering new opportunities to students from high schools and universities.
Through seminars, mentoring activities, and both residentia programs and online sessions, EFC promotes innovative educational paths to support young people in choosing their study and research career. The initiative is designed as a unique and inclusive plan that nurtures talent and supports merit, facilitating access to higher education and contributing to an increasingly international academic landscape.

This new network represents a significant opportunity to strengthen collaboration among the University Schools of Advanced Studies and enhance student orientation and training, both nationally and internationally.
To best promote the EFC project, the network will provide updates on all activities and opportunities offered by EFC, including university and post-university orientation programs, summer schools, orientation fairs, and networking events with companies and professionals in the field.
The EFC project - project code SSU2024-00002, funded under Article 11, paragraph 1, of Notice 594/2024, in favor of the implementing subjects of Mission 4, Component 1, Investment 3.4 "Teaching and Advanced University Competencies" is supported by the PNRR, Sub-investment "Strengthening University Schools of Excellence."
The granted funding amounts to a total of €12,858,149.87.
