A new edition of JOBFair is just around the corner. The job meeting of Italy’s schools of excellence has announced two editions for 2025.
The XIV edition will be held online on Thursday, 22 May 2025, while the XV edition, in-person, is scheduled for Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 October 2025 at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa.
JOBFair is a joint initiative of Italy’s six universities of excellence—Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore, IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, Gran Sasso Science Institute in L’Aquila, International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste, and, of course, our IUSS School in Pavia—designed to create a unique opportunity for top-tier companies to connect with students and graduates from elite academic programs.
Through a dedicated online platform, participants will be able to explore company profiles and internship or career opportunities offered by companies, institutions, and nonprofit organizations, and request one-to-one interviews with recruiters.
This year, we’re especially proud to announce the participation of two startups born within our academic community: RESISK and Mate.
RESISK supports engineers and companies with decision-making tools to manage risk and helps insurance firms estimate human and economic losses in areas exposed to natural hazards.
Mate develops models to estimate physical risk from extreme weather-climate events in both current and future climate change scenarios. These young startups embody the innovation and dedication of our students and researchers in transforming academic knowledge into tangible market solutions.
JOBFair 2025 will offer participants a valuable opportunity to connect with top organizations, explore career paths, and take part in one-on-one interviews.
