The public outreach event “Wearable Minds: Sensor Technology and Brain Health” took place yesterday evening in the evocative setting of the Sala del Camino at Palazzo Broletto.
The event, opened by institutional greetings from the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Andrea Sereni, provided an opportunity to explore how the latest wearable technologies developed at the FLOW LAB of the IUSS School can be applied to the study of brain health. These tools contribute to the development of preventive and personalized medicine approaches, as well as participatory models in which patients take an active and informed role in decisions concerning their own health.
Designed to bring non-specialist audiences closer to the research carried out at the School, the event also represented an important opportunity for exchange among researchers, fostering dialogue and the emergence of new synergies across different fields of study.
The IUSS School would like to thank all those who took part in the initiative, and in particular Prof. Cerami and Prof. Spanu who, guided by curiosity and through interaction with actor Dario Leone, animated a moment of scientific insight and stimulating discussion.
