In recent days, the event “The Decision-Making Brain” took place at the State Archives of Turin, as part of the exhibition Intelligènzae. The dialogue featured Prof. Nicola Canessa and Dr. Luca Zanetti (IUSS Pavia), who guided the audience through an in-depth reflection on the mechanisms underlying human decision-making.
During the event, the speakers addressed highly topical issues related to human rationality and its comparison with artificial intelligence, exploring the contribution that cognitive neuroscience and decision theory can offer in understanding the decision-making processes of the human brain. The discussion fostered a lively and engaging exchange with the audience, who participated actively throughout.
The event was part of the programme of the exhibition Intelligènzae, promoted by the Ferdinando Rossi School of Advanced Studies of Turin (SSST) and the University of Turin, with the support of the Educating Future Citizens (EFC) programme.
The meeting was moderated by Prof. Vincenzo Crupi, Director of the SSST.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors until early January.
