IUSS Pavia will host on March 30 and 31, 2026, the annual conference of the international research network "Discourse in Psychosis" dedicated to the theme "Language and Thought in the Brain and in Mental Health. 4th Consortium Satellite Meeting".

The event is aimed at university students, doctoral candidates, researchers, and clinicians active in the fields of psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, and linguistics, and promotes a strongly interdisciplinary approach to the study of thought, language, and communication disorders in psychosis.

The conference represents an important opportunity for international scientific exchange and for highlighting research activities consistent with the objectives of the Educating Future Citizens project (https://educatingfuturecitizens.com), fostering dialogue between disciplines and networking among young scholars and experts in the field.

The first day is dedicated to invited lectures on the topic of disorganization in mental illnesses, while the second day will host several workshops on various theoretical and methodological topics related to the study of the brain and language.

The event is organized by the Laboratory of Neurolinguistics and Experimental Pragmatics at IUSS Pavia, with the involvement of MoMiLab at IMT School Lucca.
