Erasmus+ Traineeship: Information Webinar for PhD Students – 15 October 2026

IUSS PhD students interested in gaining professional or research experience abroad are invited to attend an online information webinar dedicated to the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme, taking place on Thursday, 15 October 2026, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

The programme offers students the opportunity to undertake a traineeship at an eligible host organisation abroad, such as a company, research institute, university, public body, non-governmental organisation or another eligible organisation.

Traineeships can take place in European Union Member States, countries associated with the Erasmus+ programme, and eligible third countries not associated with the programme. Financial support is available for the mobility period.

During the webinar, the Orientation and Alumni Office will provide information on:

• eligibility requirements and eligible host organisations;
• how to apply and which documents are required;
• mobility duration (2 to 12 months for long-term mobility and 5 to 30 days for short-term mobility) and available financial support;
• application deadlines, timelines and the selection procedure.
