The Call for Participation "EFCitizens+ Road to New York" is now open, addressed to the technical-administrative staff of the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS Pavia and the Scuola di Studi Superiori Carlo Urbani of the University of Camerino, for participation in the Spring 2026 session of the Model United Nations (MUN) in New York.

The initiative is part of the EFC project – Educating Future Citizens (code SSU2024-00002), funded by the PNRR – Mission 4, Investment 3.4 "University Teaching and Advanced Skills", and represents an advanced training pathway oriented toward internationalization, global citizenship, and soft skills development.

The MUNER+ program, implemented in collaboration with MUN-Europe, will offer participants a high-profile training experience culminating in official participation in the Model United Nations – New York 2026, one of the most prestigious diplomatic simulations at the international level. The program also includes masterclasses on transversal skills and exchanges with the American academic and institutional world.

The call offers up to 13 places in total, of which:

• Linea A: maximum 3 places for IUSS Pavia staff
• Linea B: maximum 2 places for UNICAM staff

The participation fee covers, among other things, air travel, accommodation in New York, insurance, training activities, and institutional meetings.

📌 Application deadline: February 8 Applications must be submitted through the dedicated online form, accompanied by a motivation letter, documentation of English language proficiency, and a declaration of possession of a valid passport.

Results will be published in the IUSS website section "Calls and Competitions" - "Calls for International Mobility".

With EFCitizens+ Road to New York, the EFC project confirms its commitment to promoting excellence pathways and international growth opportunities, enhancing the role of technical-administrative staff in innovation processes and global outreach of university institutions.
