The University of Pavia Open Day returns, an event dedicated to prospective students interested in exploring the academic programmes, services and opportunities offered by the Pavia university system.

🕘 The day will officially open at 9:30 a.m. in the Statue Courtyard (Cortile delle Statue) of the University of Pavia with an institutional welcome. This will be followed by the opening of the exhibition area with information stands in the Statue Courtyard and the programme stands in the Volta and Caduti Courtyards, which will remain open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

During the morning, visitors will be able to stop by the information stand of the IUSS University School for Advanced Studies of Pavia, where they can receive materials, ask questions and learn more about the IUSS programmes, including the Undergraduate Courses, international opportunities and the College system of merit-based residential colleges.

Participants will discover a unique educational model that complements degree programmes at the University of Pavia, enriching them with advanced and interdisciplinary training designed to foster critical thinking, scientific curiosity and the ability to tackle complex challenges.

The Undergraduate Courses are structured into:

• First-level (three-year programme) for students enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree
• Second-level (two-year programme) for students enrolled in a Master’s degree
• Six-year single-cycle programme for students enrolled in Medicine and Surgery

📜 At the end of the programme, students are awarded the IUSS Diploma di Licenza, which certifies advanced academic training. After completing the second-level courses, the diploma has the legal value of a second-level university master’s degree.

💡 Admission is free of charge: IUSS students are selected exclusively on the basis of merit and attend the programmes without paying tuition fees, with access to residential opportunities in the Colleges of Merit and a high-level academic experience in a stimulating and international environment.
