The 16th edition of JOBFair has concluded in Pisa. Held on 27 and 28 October 2026, the event brought together Italy's leading Schools for Advanced Studies (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore, IUSS University School for Advanced Studies Pavia, IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, Gran Sasso Science Institute in L'Aquila, the International School for Advanced Studies in Trieste, and, for the first time, Scuola Superiore Meridionale) and representatives from the business sector, offering students and graduates valuable opportunities to connect, exchange ideas, and explore career prospects.
The event focused on the theme “New Skills for the Professions of the Future”, which was explored during the opening ceremony through discussions between representatives from academia and the business community.
Representing IUSS Pavia, Professor Lydia Velliscig, Delegate for Career Guidance, and Professor Andrea Taramelli, Delegate for Technology Transfer, contributed to the discussion on the role of higher education in developing the skills required by the evolving job market.
The initiative reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between universities and businesses in supporting young talent and creating new opportunities for professional growth.
