Activity 2 – Interactive Workshop
Activity 2 will take the form of an interactive workshop aimed at translating the theoretical knowledge acquired during Activity 1 into practical skills. Through guided exercises and collaborative group work, participants will apply concepts related to intellectual property, knowledge valorization and technology transfer to the development of a business case. Working in multidisciplinary teams and
under the supervision of the instructor, participants will structure potential pathways to bring research results from the laboratory to the market. The activity will conclude with a final pitch session in which teams will present their business cases.
The program will include:
A wrap-up of the main contents learned during Activity 1
Pitch presentations of the preliminary “business cases” developed by participants in Activity 1
Presentation by the instructor of selected tools supporting business case development
Team work: from idea to market
Presentation and discussion of group work results
Note that it is not necessary to have participated in Activity 1 in order to attend this event.

The workshop “Knowledge Valorization and Technology Transfer to Create Impact on Society”, organized within the Educating Future Citizens Project in collaboration with Netval – Network for Research Valorisation.
This hands-on workshop will focus on transforming research ideas into concrete innovation pathways. Working in teams, participants will develop a business case based on research results, exploring practical ways to bring research from the laboratory to real-world impact.
No prior participation required: it is not necessary to have attended Activity 1 in order to participate. However, you may consult the materials from Activity 1 here.
