The call for applications is now open for international mobility positions at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris (ENS), following the agreement between the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS Pavia, Collegio Ghislieri in Pavia and the École Normale Supérieure.
The call is open to students regularly enrolled in the IUSS Ordinary Courses and PhD Programmes, and aims to foster collaborations in teaching and research, while encouraging scientific, cultural and artistic projects of common interest.
The École Normale Supérieure offers 2 free accommodations in its Collegi, reserved for IUSS students and PhD candidates. In addition, within its structures ENS guarantees:
- free access to lectures, seminars and research groups, subject to registration with the relevant departments and within the limits of available places;
- free access to libraries, IT networks and scientific, cultural, artistic and sports activities;
- individual tutoring, subject to agreement with the professor;
- certificates of attendance for courses and activities, and, where approved by the Direction of Studies or the competent office, the possibility of obtaining credit recognition for the study programme carried out at the host institution.
The mobility period is structured as follows:
- First semester: September 2026 – January 2027
- Second semester: February 2027 – July 2027
Applications may be submitted until 12:00 PM on 23 January 2026.
