I graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2021, with a BSc in Biology. For my thesis, I studied the dimerization site of SARS-CoV-2 major protease and its interactions with a selection of small molecules, aiming to find ways to inhibit virus propagation. I received my MSc in Molecular Biotechnology in 2023 from Vilnius University. My Master's project was performed at Vilnius University Life Sciences Center, EMBL Partnership Institute, and focused on establishing the activity of a type IV CRISPR Cas system in eukaryotic cells to create a hypercompact gene editor. In 2024, I joined Ivana Trapani’s group at the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine to work on genetic therapy for mutations in large genes. 
My PhD project is being carried out at TIGEM as a part of the IUSS Pavia Science and Technology for Advanced Therapies PhD program. It explores the application of intein-mediated protein trans-splicing for in vivo gene therapy.
