Nigel Priestley Seminar 2026: research, education and outreach in earthquake engineering

The Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS di Pavia and the Fondazione Eucentre are pleased to invite you to the 24th edition of the International ROSE Seminar, the tenth held in memory of Prof. Nigel Priestley. The event will take place on May 21–22, 2026, at the Auditorium of the Collegio Riboldi.

The program (see attached brochure) features several highlights, including the keynote lecture by Paolo Franchin and the posthumous award of the Nigel Priestley Prize to Paolo Emilio Pinto. It will also include final PhD defenses of ROSE candidates, presentations of ongoing doctoral research, an overview of Eucentre and ROSE School activities, and the graduation ceremony.

The event represents an important opportunity for exchange and networking, bringing together students, prospective students, researchers, faculty members, and institutional and industry partners.
