The IUSS University School for Advanced Studies Pavia continues on its path of growth. As reported by La Provincia Pavese, between 2019 and 2026, the funding allocated to IUSS through the Ordinary Financing Fund (FFO) increased by 214%, rising from €4.7 million to €15 million. According to the newspaper, this is the highest increase recorded among Italian university schools for advanced studies.

This growth also extends to the academic community: over the same period, the number of faculty members doubled and the number of PhD students quadrupled, while enrolment reached 550 students.

“We have seen an increase across all components of the FFO, reflecting our overall growth: compared with 2019, the number of our faculty members and researchers has doubled, while the number of PhD students has quadrupled,” explains Rector Mario Martina in the interview.

The increase in funding is supporting the continued development of the School and its activities.
