CAVAGNOLI ANNA
Biography
I graduated in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine from the University of Milan, with a specialization in neuroscience. During my master’s thesis, I worked with spatial omics data from colorectal cancer specimens, which strengthened both my interest in and my skills in bioinformatics. This experience motivated me to pursue research in a lab that values an interdisciplinary approach.
My research focuses on the 3D genome and chromatin architecture in neurons, particularly on how chromatin organization changes throughout neuronal development. I am especially interested in identifying alterations in chromatin structure that may be linked to neurodevelopmental disorders.
