Biography

Antonios Stratidakis graduated in the Department of Materials Science, University of Patras, Greece in 2014. During his Bachelor studies, he has participated as an exchange student at Uppsala University, Angstrom Lab., Department of “Physics and Astronomy”, under the Erasmus European Program. In 2016 he obtained his Master’s Degree entitled “Advanced Polymeric and Nanostructured  Materials”, Department of Chemistry, University of Patras, Greece. During his MSc studies he gained a Scholarship funding under the European Program “Development in Industrial Research and Technology”.
During 2016-early 2019 he was a member of the Research Team of the Laboratory of Toxicology, Department of Medicine, University of Crete, Greece. During these 3 years his research activity mainly extended in environmental pollution, toxicology and neurotoxicology. Until now he has published a number of scientific research articles in International peer reviewed scientific journals. He has participated in a number of European and International Conferences with several poster presentations. He is registered as a reviewer in two International Scientific Journals entitled “Food and Chemical Toxicology” and “Toxicology Reports”.
Currently, he is a member of ‘NEUROSOME’  which is an innovative Training Network funded by the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement. His research project focuses on developing an integrative biology approach for developing AOPs for neurodevelopmental disorders building systems biology hypotheses based on multiple -omics data. The goal of his research is to identify the most critical regulatory pathway nodes that regulate the onset of pathways beyond cellular homeostasis-thus identify potential candidates for adverse outcome pathways.
