PhD candidate in Earthquake Engineering.

I am a PhD student in the ROSE program at IUSS Pavia, focusing on seismic risk engineering. My research involves developing building exposure layers to improve seismic risk assessments. The goal is to create more accurate models that help assess the potential impact of earthquakes on buildings.
I hold a Master's degree in Earthquake Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, where I worked on developing fragility curves for Special Moment Frame (SMF) buildings with a first soft story mechanism.I am excited to continue exploring ways to enhance seismic risk modeling and contribute to safer, more resilient built environments.
