Biography

PhD candidate in Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology.

Born in Naples on November 18th, 1998, I obtained my bachelor's degree in General and Applied Biology with a focus on Molecular Biology. Subsequently, I earned a master's degree in Reproduction and Differentiation Biology, both from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
I conducted my dissertation research at Professor Marco Salvemini's Development Genetic laboratory. The study focused on the monitoring of Aedes albopictus (tiger mosquito) populations using Gravid Traps on Procida island, along with the expression analysis of the female-specific lethality gene MntB at the Biology Department of Federico II.
Following that, I worked as a collaborator at Professor Giuliana Napolitano's Human Genetic laboratory.
Currently, I am enrolled in a three-year Ph.D. program in Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology at the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS di Pavia. I am conducting research at the Centro di Ricerca Nazionale di Pavia in Professor Donata Orioli's laboratory.
