PhD candidate in Theoretical and Experimental Linguistics. 

Guido Formichi graduated from the Modern Literature Bachelor Course at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice in 2020 with a thesis in narratology entitled "Il ruolo del lettore nelle teorie letterarie e nella letteratura contemporanea: Iser, Eco e Calvino" (supervisor: Alberto Zava). He then attended the Master's Degree in Linguistics at the University of Padua, specializing in theoretical linguistics and syntax. He graduated in 2023 with a thesis on right dislocation in Italian: "Clitic Right Dislocation in Italian: A syntactic and prosodic study". The work was carried out under the supervision of Emanuela Sanfelici and Giuliano Bocci and consists of two parts: a syntactic part with a detailed comparison of the main existing models of right dislocation and an experimental part with a prosodic analysis carried out on Italian speakers.
