Biography
About me
I attended the Master's Degree program in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. During my internship, my laboratory activity focused on characterizing the mechanism of micronuclei formation at various phases of the cell cycle following treatment with two compounds, Pyridostatin and Camptothecin. The action of these two molecules has recently been correlated with the activation of innate immune response genes. From September 2023 to October 2025 I worked at Molecular Biotechnology Center in Turin as a pre-doc researcher, and my research focused on the study of aging and cancer at a molecular and epigenetic level using tumor cell lines and intestinal organoids developed there.
My research
Currently, I am working at San Raffaele Telethon Institute as a PhD Student in Professor Naldini Lab. My project focuses on developing novel approaches for gene therapy in hemopoietic progenitor stem cells.
