Biography

About me
I am Shaghayegh Adibpoor (Nur), a PhD student with a background in physics and medical nuclear engineering. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Isfahan and my Master’s degree in Nuclear Medical Engineering from Shiraz University. My work combines medical imaging simulations with practical applications for therapy, including the optimization of the Polarized Nuclear Imaging (PNI) system. During my PhD, I am part of a renowned IUSS group, working on AI-based brain image segmentation with a focus on MRI. I am proficient in scientific programming, data analysis, and imaging simulations. I am passionate about applying computational and experimental techniques to advance medical diagnostics and treatment, staying closely aligned with state-of-the-art research and emerging technologies.
My research
My research focuses on optimizing medical imaging systems for diagnosis and therapy. I develop and test simulations, enhance image quality, and optimize system parameters. I aim to integrate AI methods with experimental and computational approaches to improve imaging performance. Through my PhD, I seek to deepen my expertise and contribute to innovative solutions in medical imaging and therapeutic technologies.
