PhD candidate in Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology.

I graduated from the University of Milan in December 2023 with a degree in Biology applied to Biomedical Research. 
I had the opportunity to do my internship at San Raffaele Hospital, a highly stimulating and competitive environment that made me realise how important it was for me to be able to contribute to the fascinating world of biological research. 
My first project was on cystic fibrosis and infection of patients with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. I then focused on the immune response in gene therapy.
I am currently a PhD student in the Biology and Biotechnology Science PhD programme at the IUSS of Pavia. My PhD research focuses on the study of innate immunity against gene therapy vectors in the central nervous system.
