PhD candidate in The Human Mind and its Explanations: Language, Brain and Reasoning (HuME).

Thomas Sachen is a PhD student in the HuME program at IUSS Pavia and SNS Pisa. He received a degree in Mathematics from Princeton University in 2023, with a thesis in arithmetic geometry and topology. He has also done research in topology and geometry at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Tufts University. His current research interests include Hilbert’s 24th problem, mathematical logic, and the philosophy of mathematics. He also enjoys Russian literature, rock climbing, and playing the piano.
