Biography
I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology for Health in 2022 from the University of Naples Federico II, where I discussed an experimental thesis entitled “Western Blot assay of FKBP51 isoforms during lymphocyte activation”. This research activity was carried out in the laboratory of Prof. Maria Fiammetta Romano, within the Department of Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology. In 2024, I obtained my Master’s Degree in Medical Biotechnology from the same University, defending an experimental thesis entitled “Pharmacological characterization of two variants in Kv7.2 potassium channel variants identified in patients with developmental and epileptic encephalopathy”, under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Miceli, at the Department of Neuroscience and Reproductive and Odontostomatological Sciences.
Since November 2025, I have been enrolled in the PhD program in Science and Technology for Advanced Therapies (STAT) and I am conducting my research activity in the Histology Laboratory of Prof. Antonia Follenzi, within the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Novara. My research focuses on the study of hemophilia and on investigating the extra-coagulative roles of coagulation factor VIII, particularly through its interactions with endothelial cell membrane molecules and components of the extracellular matrix.
