
Biography
PhD candidate in THE HADRON ACADEMY: Risk and complexity in high tech medical innovation.
Vittoria Pavanello was born in Rovigo, where she completed her studies up to a scientific high school diploma. She embarked on her academic journey at the University of Padua, earning a bachelor's degree in Fisica, followed by a master's degree in Physics. Throughout her university years, she deepened her knowledge of applied nuclear physics, with a specific focus on medical applications. Her master's thesis, conducted in collaboration with the ISOLPHARM project of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), focused on studying the performance of silicon detectors used in cellular imaging. The primary objective was to test the internalization of a prototype TRT radiopharmaceutical based on 111Ag.
Currently, she is a doctoral student at IUSS, actively collaborating with the National Center for Oncological Hadrontherapy (CNAO).
