With the film/concert by director Stefano Sgarella with the boys of the Choir of the Almo Collegio Borromeo directed by Marco Berrini this year the tradition of the Christmas Carols by Borromeo will be inaugurated. Appointment on December 23, 2020, at 21.00, streaming on the Facebook pages of the Collegio Borromeo and Forte Fortissimo TV, on the youtube channel of the College and on the websites of the College and the Province of Pavia.

The program of the concert is entirely dedicated to traditional Christmas songs, from the most famous as Adeste fideles to the contemporary Carols that are already in tradition as Ola Gjeilo’s Spotless rose.
"This year will be a different Christmas. The Child of Bethlehem will be born not only in a grotto but above all in the folds of suffering, in Covid hospitals, in families that suffer and hope  - explains the Rector of the College, Alberto Lolli -.

The Borromeo Choir, composed of students from the College and the University of Pavia, is directed by Marco Berrini, one of the most famous and important Italian choir directors, permanent director of the Borromeo Choir as well as an internationally appreciated teacher.
The film/concert is organised as part of the European project Meets, Music in higher education to develop transversal skills, funded by the European Erasmus+ programme of which Collegio Borromeo is the leader.
