On 17 June, the Global Risk Forum returns to the presence of the Business International - Fiera Milano event that analyzes emerging strategies in the field of risk management in the company created in collaboration with the IUSS University School of Pavia and with the Patronage of ANRA - National Association of Risk Managers and Corporate Insurance Managers.

Modern companies are faced with an innumerable series of unexpected types of risk that are difficult to identify and quantify. Cyber risks, scarcity of raw materials, rising energy prices, climate transition, migratory pressures, geo-economic conflicts, talent flight are the main risks that the World Economic Forum considers to have the greatest impact, but there are as many that are difficult to quantify and not even imaginable, think for example of the great pandemic wave, still ongoing, which has jeopardized the business continuity of many businesses.

Mario Martina, Full Professor and Coordinator of the National Doctorate in Sustainable Development and Climate Change - IUSS Pavia will speak at 10:30, during the Global Risk Forum, with a KEYNOTE SPEECH entitled: What are the tools and new models linked to sustainability?
Climate and climate change pose real risks for companies in terms of both direct and indirect impacts. In the international context and in particular in Europe in recent years several framework directives have tried to define a taxonomy of climate phenomena to be considered and guidelines on how to proceed with the quantification of risks. In the financial field, the management is that of an obligation for non-financial risk reporting companies and in general of a
