20 years of IUSS: a day of celebration, reflection, and new beginnings

The 20th anniversary of the IUSS School marked a meaningful and emotional milestone. During the day, Rector Riccardo Pietrabissa reflected on his mandate, full of challenges and achievements, before passing the baton to the newly elected Rector Mario Martina, who outlined his strategic vision for the future of the Institute.

A symbolic gesture sealed the handover: the presentation of a print signed by all former Rectors, a moment that moved both deeply.

The ceremony also included the awarding of an honorary doctorate to Prof. Cristina Messa.

The day featured the presentation of a book dedicated to the history and future of IUSS, with a special mention of the interpreters and key figures behind the project.
