The deployment and regulation of agrivoltaic systems—technologies that enable the coexistence of solar energy production with agricultural and livestock activities—are attracting growing attention. This innovative technology is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing a “just transition”, that is, an energy transition embedded in principles of equity and inclusiveness.
The workshop aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue across diverse academic fields, including law, sociology, agronomy, landscape architecture and engineering, in order to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with the development of agrivoltaic technologies.
The event is organized within the framework of the PhD in Sustainable Development and Climate Change.
