On Wednesday, 29 October at 5:00 p.m., a new event of the Beer & Talk series will take place at the Caffè Teatro in Pavia (Corso Strada Nuova). The format combines informal dialogue, science communication, culture and conviviality.

The meeting, linked to the dress rehearsal of the opera Don Quichotte at Teatro Fraschini, will offer an interdisciplinary reflection on the universal themes of ageing, memory, identity and death, explored through the perspectives of art, psychology and neuroscience.

Among the speakers will be Chiara Cerami, Associate Professor of Neurology at the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS Pavia, alongside Jacopo Brusa (Orchestra Conductor), Eleonora Fullone (PhD candidate in Cognitive Brain Science), Claudia Jasmin Marelli (President, Centro Eos) and Roberto Marino (Scientific Director, Centro Eos).

The event will open at 5:00 p.m. with the Beer & Talk at the Caffè Teatro and will continue, shortly before 6:00 p.m., with the transfer to the theatre for the dress rehearsal of Don Quichotte.

Described by the organisers as a true “theatrical experiment”, the opera uses music, set design and dramaturgy to explore the human condition, transforming questions from clinical and neuroscientific research into an artistic language capable of resonating deeply with the audience.

A special under-30 ticket (price: €10) includes one drink and access to the dress rehearsal. Tickets can be purchased at the Teatro Fraschini box office during opening hours or on the evening of the event.
