
Simona Aresta, a PhD student at The Hadron Academy of IUSS Pavia, received the Best Poster Award at the "SINdem4juniors" conference, held in Bressanone from February 5-7, 2025. The award was presented for the work titled "Artificial intelligence classifies Parkinson's Disease from connected speech," among 85 scientific contributions at the conference.
The poster explored the use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and artificial intelligence to classify patients with Parkinson's disease, offering an innovative approach that leverages connected speech analysis.
